No. Registration as a corporation or of a fictitious name is not required before registering a trademark.


Question: What is a License?

Answer:
A license is a contractual agreement between the licensor (government or technology developer) and the licensee. The licensor grants to the licensee the right to use or develop the technology for a fee.

Question: What constitutes interstate commerce?

Answer:
For goods, "Interstate commerce" involves sending the goods across state lines with the mark displayed on the goods or the packaging for the goods. With services, "interstate commerce" involves offering a service to those in another state or rendering a service which affects interstate commerce.
